Sienna Ramirez, from Lakewood, WA, excels in women's freestyle wrestling at 68KG. Introduced at 13 by family, Ramirez's career burgeoned with titles including NAIA National Champion and U.S. Open Champion. Following her collegiate success at Southern Oregon University, she joined the U.S. Army as a Horizontal Construction Engineer in January 2023. Combining service with her wrestling passion, Ramirez embodies dedication. Despite rigorous Army training, she persists with the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence. Specialist Ramirez exemplifies the fusion of athletic prowess and military service, poised to make an enduring impact both on and off the mat.
Joining the Army gave me the opportunity to pursue my goals in wrestling while continuing to develop off the mat. I hope to continue my education and gain professional skills to take with me throughout my military career.
