Kelly Kaim has been at the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) as their Performance Dietitian since 2016. WCAP has put at least 10 Athletes on Olympic/Para-Olympic Teams since hiring Kelly as a full-time dietitian. Previous to her tenure at WCAP, Kelly worked at Peak Nutrition Clinic at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), as well as, serving at the performance dietitian for student athletes at UCCS and adjunct professor. She also was a consulting dietitian with the Olympic Training Center where she attended 2010 Winter games assigned to the short track speed skating team.

Kelly began her military career in the active-duty Army in 2012 where she served in such roles as the chief of outpatient dietetics at Evans Army Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. She also served as the 4th Infantry Division Dietitian where she developed a comprehensive approach to weight loss for the Army body composition program (ABCP). Kelly also served as a subject matter expert to the Division Commander with Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F). Kelly is currently assigned as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee at Evans Army Hospital in the US Army Reserves where she holds the rank of Major.

Kelly holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition with a minor in Psychology and a master’s degree in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. She holds numerous certifications that include; Registered Dietitian, Certified Sports Dietitian, ISAK certified, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, and Certified Track and Field Level I. Kelly has authored several articles on nutrition and recipe books for athletes.
