The world turns to Milan-Cortina in preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games and so does the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program. Thousands will arrive to compete, but only a select few earn the honor of representing Team USA on the Olympic stage. Our Soldier-athletes train to serve and compete, proving that Army discipline fuels world-class performances. The journey to Italy begins now.

Army Sergeants eyes focused on Olympic Glory

Sergeant Frank Del Duca was named to the 2026 U.S. Olympic Bobsled Team, looking to continue his success as Team USA's #1 bobsled driver. Following an outstanding 2025 season, Sgt. Del Duca returns for his second Olympic Games, aiming to improve on his performances and earn an Olympic medal for Team USA.

WCAP Soldier-athlete set to make Olympic debut in Milan-Cortina

Specialist Azaria Hill was named to the 2026 U.S. Olympic Bobsled Team, continuing a powerful family tradition. Spc. Hill will make her Olympic debut this February in Milan–Cortina, Italy, representing Team USA on the world’s biggest stage.

Three WCAP Coaches named to U.S. Olympic Team

Lt. Col. Christopher Fogt, Lt. Col. Garrett Hines, and Sgt. 1st Class Shauna Rohbock have been named to the 2026 U.S. Olympic Team, bringing their experience as Olympic silver medalists to the world’s biggest stage. As leaders and mentors, they will guide Team USA men’s and women’s teams in Milan–Cortina, continuing a legacy of excellence, discipline, and Olympic success.

WCAP Figure Skater is Milan-Cortina bound

Private Second Class Spencer Howe has been named to the U.S. Olympic Team to compete in pairs figure skating at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan–Cortina, Italy. The figure skating competitions will take place February 6–19, 2026. Howe will compete alongside his partner, Emily Chan, representing Team USA on the Olympic stage.

Specialist Sean Doherty has punched his ticket to the world’s biggest sporting stage, earning selection to Team USA for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan–Cortina, Italy, February 6–22, 2026. With this achievement, Doherty cements his legacy as a four-time Olympian, embodying relentless determination, elite performance, and the pride of the U.S. Army as he prepares to compete against the world’s best.

Staff Sgt. Deedra Irwin named to 2026 U.S. Olympic Team

Staff Sgt. Deedra Irwin has been named to the U.S. Olympic Team in women’s biathlon for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan–Cortina, Italy from February 6–22, 2026. Staff Sgt. Irwin will be competing in her second Olympic Games, representing the U.S. Army and Team USA on the world’s biggest stage.

Soldier-athletes preparing for the 2026 Olympic Games

Twelve U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program Soldiers are training intensely for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Games. They compete in Biathlon, Bobsled, Figure Skating, Luge, Nordic Combined, Skeleton, and Snowboarding, blending military discipline with elite athleticism to honor their nation and strive for Olympic success.
