SGT Robert “Robby” Burns is an Infantryman from Mount Shasta, California, and one of America’s top alpine snowboarders. A University of Idaho graduate, he carves the Parallel Giant Slalom with precision, highlighted by 2022 Olympic experience, a North American Cup victory (2023), and two World Cup top-10s. Now racing for the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program, Burns channels discipline, power, and faith to prove—on snow and in uniform—that hard work outruns talent.

It gives me a great sense of responsibility. To know that my country is willing to support me in this endeavor and has given me a deep sense of pride. This is such a unique opportunity, and one that I do not take lightly.
