Mariana Lopez only started Boxing recently but already has taken herself to new heights in the sport, placing 2nd at National Championships in 2021. A native of Greeley, Colorado, Lopez joined the Army in late 2022 as a transportation management coordinator to add more structure to her life, and to become a role model for younger members of her family to look up to. Joining the Army makes her determined to be her best at all times, and she believes hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. She aims to make waves on her journey in the boxing community and is looking for her first National Title.
