Handball

CPT Annette Bell began her Army journey at the United States Military Academy in 2016, inspired by her father, a West Point graduate and former Army cavalry officer. A native of Austin, Texas, Bell discovered team handball as a cadet after transitioning from volleyball and quickly embraced the sport’s speed, physicality, and teamwork. After graduating and commissioning in May 2020, Bell began serving as a Cyber Officer while continuing to develop as a handball athlete. Her dedication culminated in her selection to the U.S. National Team Pool in March 2026. Today, Bell proudly serves as a Soldier-athlete in the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program, combining two lifelong passions: serving her country and competing at the highest level. She considers the opportunity an incredible honor and strives every day to represent her family, fellow Soldiers, WCAP, and the Army with integrity, gratitude, and pride.
