CPT William Considine discovered team handball during his freshman year at the United States Military Academy after deciding to try out for the club team. What started as a new challenge quickly became a passion, and after earning an opportunity to compete with the U.S. National Team during his senior year, he realized he had the potential to pursue the sport at the highest level. A native of Pryor Creek, Oklahoma, Considine comes from a proud family tradition of military service and became the sixth member of his family to attend West Point. He joined the Army to continue that legacy while leading Soldiers as an Infantry officer. Through the Army World Class Athlete Program, Considine is able to fully dedicate himself to competing internationally while representing both the United States and the Army. He considers the opportunity to serve and compete an honor he never takes for granted.
