2LT Nathan Gould discovered rugby in 2016 after his mother encouraged him to give the sport a try, introducing him to a game that would ultimately shape his future. A native of Scituate, Massachusetts, Gould developed into one of the nation's top collegiate players at the United States Military Academy, helping Army win a national championship, earning All-American honors twice, captaining the team, and representing the United States on the U20 national team. He chose West Point because it offered the opportunity to challenge himself as both a leader and student while serving his country. Today, Gould continues pursuing excellence as a Soldier-athlete in the Army World Class Athlete Program, where he combines military service with his goal of representing the United States at the Olympic level. He takes immense pride in competing for his country on the rugby pitch while serving it in uniform.

I am very proud to be a part of the World Class Athlete Program and dedicated to playing for my country at the highest levels while giving it my full effort.
