SGT David Kim
Men's Taekwondo
David’s father put him in taekwondo class at five years old, and David chose it over soccer and started taking it seriously when he entered his teen years. As a young athlete, he won the Junior Pan Am Championships, and also won male MVP of the tournament. Since joining the Army, David has competed in numerous opens to collect World and Olympic ranking points – and is now ranked #30 world-wide.
