Timothy Young, originally from Aurora, IL, embarked on his wrestling journey at the age of six under the watchful eye of his father, deeply immersed in the fabric of the Tomcat Wrestling Club. His path to wrestling stardom saw him capture numerous titles, including a State Championship and a prestigious Junior College National title in 2017. Young's journey took a new turn in November 2022 when he answered the call to serve his country, joining the U.S. Army as a Unit Supply Specialist (MOS 92Y). Balancing the demands of military service with his passion for wrestling, Young seamlessly transitioned into the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP). Through unwavering dedication and commitment, Specialist Timothy Samuel Young Jr. epitomizes the ideals of service, sacrifice, and athletic excellence, proudly representing both his country and the sport of Wrrestling.

It’s a dream come true being a Soldier-athlete. I have a lot of family in the Army and it makes me really proud to continue the legacy.
